  • Upfront, honest pricing

The price is in writing before work begins, and any change is discussed with you first.

  • Same-day service is available

Same-day visits happen when the day's bookings leave room, and we say so plainly when they do not.

Questions About Working With Us

How do I book the free inspection?

Call the office or send the request form with your name, phone, ZIP code and the service you need. A family member calls back first to set a time. Then the crew checks the chimney or fireplace from the firebox and damper up to the cap, and explains the findings before leaving.

Is the inspection really free?

The inspection costs nothing and carries no obligation to book. The crew checks the flue, crown, cap and damper, then writes up any work with each item priced separately; booking any of that work within 72 hours of the inspection takes 10% off the job.

How does the 10% offer work?

Book any service within 72 hours of your free inspection and 10% comes off that service. The window starts once the inspection ends and covers every item on the estimate, from a cap to a liner, not only the first one. Nothing else is needed beyond booking within that window.

Do you offer same-day service?

Same-day service is available when the schedule allows, and the office tells you honestly when it does not. Urgent problems, such as a cap torn off or water coming in after a storm, go through the 24/7 emergency line first. A family member then helps you make the chimney safe.

What areas do you serve?

Panama City Chimney & Sons works on homes across Panama City, Florida, in Bay County, from the office on Nadine Road. Call with your address first, then the crew confirms the visit time; every visit, from a cap swap to a flue check, starts with the same free inspection.

Do you warranty your work?

Yes. The repairs and installations we finish carry our workmanship warranty, and the written estimate describes what each job includes. Manufacturer parts such as a cap, a liner or a gas valve also carry the maker's own terms, which the crew explains once the part goes in.

Who actually does the work on my chimney?

Our family crew handles every job from the first look to the cleanup, rather than passing it to another outfit. The same people who check the flue and crown do the masonry, metal and fireplace work. The written estimate names the work that crew will do, step by step.

Do you clean up after the job?

Yes. The crew covers the hearth and floor before work starts and keeps dust contained with a vacuum during sweeping. An open chimney is covered at the end of each work day, and the debris is hauled away when the job is done.

What payment methods do you accept?

The office confirms the accepted payment methods when the visit is booked and again on the written estimate. Nothing is paid before you approve the work. The price on the estimate is the price of the job, from a damper repair to a new liner, unless you agree to a change first.

Will you tell me if nothing needs fixing?

The crew says so plainly when the chimney or fireplace is in good shape. You also hear when the next yearly check of the flue and cap makes sense; there is no pressure to book work the chimney does not need, and nothing is added without your approval first.

Do I need to be home for the visit?

Someone should be home for the inspection so the crew can open the damper, check the firebox and walk you through the findings. For roof-only work on a later day, such as a cap or crown, being home helps but can be arranged otherwise once you approve the job.

How long does a typical visit take?

A free inspection usually takes under an hour. A sweep takes about one to two hours, depending on the flue and the roof. Repairs vary from a short visit for a cap to several days for a rebuild of the stack. The written estimate states the expected time for your job before work starts.
